Amaretto Sour

Jeffrey Morgenthaler's perfected recipe. Nutty, balanced, and legitimately delicious.

Ingredients

• ✗1.5 ozDisaronno
• ✗0.75 ozBourbon or whisky(optional)
• ✓1 ozFresh lemon juice
• ✓0.25 ozSimple syrup
• ✓1 wholeEgg white(optional)

Method

1. 1.Dry shake all ingredients without ice for 15 seconds (if using egg white).
2. 2.Add ice and shake again for 12-15 seconds.
3. 3.Strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.
