Vieux Carre

A New Orleans classic from the Hotel Monteleone. Complex and spirit-forward.

Ingredients

• ✗1 ozWhisky
• ✗1 ozSweet vermouth
• ✗0.25 ozBenedictine
• ✓1 dashAngostura bitters
• ✓1 dashPeychaud's bitters

Method

1. 1.Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.
2. 2.Stir for 20-30 seconds.
3. 3.Strain into a rocks glass over a large ice cube.
